Dr. Ke is a Taiwanese Christian, scholar and apologist who has been preaching and teaching the Word of God in the churches for many years. He is currently the professor and chairman of Department of Ecological Humanities at Providence University in Taiwan. He also taught at National Taiwan University, Tunghai University, Taiwan Theological College and Seminary, Tainan Theological College and Seminary, China Evangelical Seminary, and central Taiwan Theological College and Seminary. The subjects he has taught include history of Western philosophy, Western history of the idea of nature, ethics, contemporary hermeneutics, bio ethics, philosophy of love, Christian ethics, and social controversies and Biblical ethics. He co-founded Taiwan Christian Institute, and was the founder and editor-in-chief (2003-2012) of Solitudo, a Taiwanese Christian ideological journal. Books that he has written include The Hermeneutics of Evil (2008), The Rightfulness of Love (2008), The Promise of Understanding (2009), Honorable Man, Marriage and Sex (2012), The Ethics of Love (2013), Fetus and Death Row Inmates (2013), There Is No So-Called “Same-Sex Marriage” (2016), and Bibliology (2019).
