What is the conference theme?
Gospel and Culture: Building the Heavenly body of Christ on Earth

 

What is the conference theme verse?
1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

 

What are the conference goals?

  • To worship the triune God (to celebrate a Spirit-led, Christ-centered, God-fearing gospel movement)
  • To equip the saints (to build up and equip participants)
  • To connect resources (to strengthen connections among churches and gospel organizations

     

What are the conference expectations?

That we as a body would:

  • Engage in deeper worship
  • Experience God’s grace and presence to a greater degree   
  • Develop a more dedicated church life
  • Live more sacrificially
  • Connect more broadly
  • Establish more churches- Establish churches in more areas and countries
  • Establish churches in more diverse cultural contexts
     

When do I need to arrive and depart from Kuala Lumpur?
The conference begins on the evening of January 28 and ends on the evening of January 31. We recommend you arrive on Monday, January 27 and depart on Saturday, February 1.
 

What language will the conference be in?
The conference will be led in both English and Chinese.

 

Will there be translation?
Yes!
Plenary sessions will have live translation from both Chinese to English and English to Chinese. Worship will be led in Chinese.
Breakout sessions in both English and Chinese.
 

Will there be food provided at the conference?
Yes. Lunch and Dinner will be provided at PWTC on January 29, 30, and 31.
We will also have a tea break each day provided as well.
 

Will there be programming for children?
KL2020 is occurring during Chinese/Lunar New Year and we recognize this is a time of family travel. We have partnered with Young Life, Awana, and another Taiwan based organization to provide programming throughout the conference. All of these programs are currently offered in Chinese but we will ensure programming in English for those who register that do not speak Chinese.

 

Will I need a visa to enter Malaysia?
Some attendees will need to apply for a visa to Malaysia. Please see this website to see if you will be required to have a visa to enter Malaysia.

Can I get a refund for my ticket?
We understand that sometimes change of plans occur and would like to assist when able.
100% of registration fee can be refunded if asked before November 15.
50% of registration fee can be refunded if asked before December 15.
We will not be able to refund registration tickets after December 15 due to commitments we have to fulfill with the venue and contractors.
